Assist at site inspections, research and write report drafts, review and summarize legal documents. Work with clients to help them understand dispute resolution options. Assist and facilitate all dispute resolution jobs.

Conflict Resolution Center, Soquel, CA. 2004-Present
Work in the Santa Cruz County Small Claims Court Program to facilitate Plaintiffs and Defendants to reach an agreement; resolve 75-85% of cases up to $15,000.00 including counter suit situations. Maintain ground rules, encourage communication, manage unequal power situations, finesse tense emotional periods full of anger, sadness or desperation and find common ground where it exists.

Work in panels for the Community Mediation Program to guide neighbors and business partners, often entrenched in their positions for years, toward complete resolution. Facilitate breakthroughs in relationships thought to be unsalvageable. Create ways for clients to view conflict with a new perspective. Help clients practice their new communication skills.

Silicon Graphics, Inc (SGI), Mountain View, CA. 1994-2003
As a Sales and Marketing Major Account Representative, created and executed marketing and business plans for eight multimillion dollar accounts as well as managed ten others. Created business plans to optimize clients’ complex needs on multiple organizational levels. Met with executives to discuss strategies to increase their investment levels in SGI. Hired to work with most difficult clients as well as resolve inter-office and client conflicts. Implemented corporate driven marketing initiatives including newsletters, print ads, seminars, lunch and learn sessions, trade shows and sales programs. Earned President’s Club Award (top 10% of entire sales force) 1998, 2000.

As a Telesales Representative, sold $1.2 million in incremental revenue and created 49 new accounts. Earned President’s Club Award,1997.

As a Customer Service Representative, earned “Exceeds Expectations” review two years in a row. Voted by peers and managers Spirit Award Winner for 1995.

Joint Venture Silicon Valley Network, San Jose, CA. 1993-1994
Managed office of a start up non-profit organization and developed a volunteer program. Implemented marketing program to communicate ten initiatives.

Echosphere Corporation (Echo Star), Denver, CO 1989-92
As Export Assistant, managed exporting of telecommunication equipment to accounts in Canada, Africa, Europe and Asia. Chosen by managers to help reorganize personnel due to level of trust and process improvement skills demonstrated. Promoted four times in three years.
