Daniel Donny Alcocer re-joined Myles F. Corcoran Construction Consulting, Inc., in 2020. Current duties include: investigating and reporting on both Plaintiff and Defendant cases; conducting site inspections with photo documentation; leading investigative testing; writing non-litigation reports and Site Inspection Memoranda; preparing repair scopes and cost estimates; developing waterproofing detailing and specifications; providing on-site quality assurance; and, acting as owner representative during construction. Years of hands-on construction and on-site project management strengthen all aspects of his expert witness and design consulting. California Contractor License #928658, Class B-General Building.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:

DAC (2009 – Current) – Owner / General Contractor. Duties include: perform work on single family residential, multi-residential and commercial projects such as additions, remodels, and tenant improvements; analyze blue prints; estimate project costs; perform and supervise work in plumbing, electrical, concrete, and framing.

Recon 360, LLC (2019 – 2020) – Project Superintendent. Managed large-scale, multi-residential construction projects involving roofing, framing (siding, stairs, balconies/decks), and painting. Analyzed blue prints, specifications and production schedules. Produced scopes of work and proposals. Administered subcontracts. Coordinated various phases of construction with property management companies and HOAs. Performed and supervised work in plumbing, electrical, concrete, and framing. Met with architects and engineers for various project needs and with building officials for permit requirements. Procured construction materials. Reviewed and assimilated complex documentation relating to re-build/repair construction projects. Completed job close-out tasks.

CM2, Inc. (2017 – 2019) – Construction Manager. Performed quality assurance site inspections, as HOA representative, of ongoing construction repair work at multi-residential projects. Met with architects, engineers and municipality officials. Created well written and detailed project manuals. Createed bid comparisons for use by Community Management Companies and HOAs. Completed job close-out tasks.

IQV Construction & Roofing (2016 – 2017) – Service Department Manager. Performed site inspections. Created well written estimates for construction and roofing repairs. Conducted production meetings with project superintendents. Oversaw the construction work.

A One Construction, Inc. (2014 – 2016) – General Superintendent. Supervise labor, material procurement, and material installations by Roofing, Construction and Maintenance Departments. Lead production meetings for senior staff. Report profit and loss on each project. Procure materials for large-scale, multi-residential construction projects entailing roofing, general construction (siding stairs balconies/decks), and painting; attend HOA Board meetings.

Myles F. Corcoran Construction Consulting, Inc. (2008 – 2014) – Inspector/Consultant I. Duties included: conducting thorough site inspections with photo documentation; analyzing blueprints; preparing cost of repair estimates; writing clear reports; investigating and reporting on both Plaintiff and Defendant cases; leading investigative testing; producing detailed scopes of repair and specifications; waterproofing design; providing on-site quality assurance; acting as owner representative; and, code compliance research. California Contractor License #928658, Class B-General Building. Held International Code Council (ICC) Inspector #8033833 certifications: Building Inspector B5 (combined certification: Certified California Residential Building Inspector J1 plus Certified California Commercial Building Inspector I1), as well as Certified California Residential Plumbing Inspector J3 and Residential Mechanical Inspector J4. Advance Construction Technology, Inc. (2006-2008) – Production Manager/ Project Manager. Analyzed blue prints, specifications, production schedules. Produced scopes of work and proposals. Administered subcontracts. Coordinated various phases of construction with property management companies and HOAs. Performed and supervised work in plumbing, electrical, concrete, and framing of residential (single and multi-unit) dwellings and commercial buildings. Met with architects and engineers for various project needs and with building officials for permit requirements. Procured, reviewed and assimilated complex documentation relating to re-construction cases. Completed job close out tasks.

Fehr Construction (2003-2006) – Carpenter/Foreman. Executed and supervised various aspects of rough framing, fire-resistive construction, and finish carpentry of custom homes.

Nutter Construction (1997-2003, Seasonal) – Project Manager. Executed and supervised the tasks involved in the constructing of custom homes from the foundation to finish, including grading, concrete, asphalt, rough and finish carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and roofing. Co-designed various home remodels and additions. Permit procurement and sign-offs.
